Description

Lead technical strategy and engineering operations for complex, cloud-native distributed systems and digital identity solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical roadmap and multi-year plans for next-gen biometrics, privacy, and high-performance computing.
• Lead and mentor a globally distributed team of front-end, back-end, DevOps, testing, and security engineers.
• Architect web applications using React.js and TypeScript while building scalable cloud-based back-end systems.
• Implement Agile methodologies and streamline CI/CD workflows for secure software delivery.
• Enforce secure coding practices, threat modeling, and compliance with GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in senior engineering roles leading SaaS/PaaS, distributed systems, or digital identity solutions.
• Expertise in front-end development with React.js, TypeScript, HTML, and Tailwind CSS.
• Extensive experience with Node.js frameworks including Express.js, NestJS, or Next.js.
• Proficiency with cloud-native infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deep understanding of security principles, penetration testing, and threat modeling.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to communicate technical requirements to both engineering teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with emerging technologies including ML, blockchain, MPC, ZKP, and WebAssembly (C++).
