Description

You will develop and configure software applications for Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) platforms to ensure safe and efficient operation of rotating machinery and process control systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC applications using IEC-61131 languages (Structured Text, Function Block Diagrams, Ladder Logic) on platforms such as Allen Bradley, Triconex, Schneider Electric, Siemens, or Emerson.
• Participate in the full product development lifecycle, including algorithm design, software development, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and commissioning.
• Utilize engineering simulation tools like SimSci to evaluate control strategies, performance, and system robustness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored control solutions and maintain technical documentation.
• Support testing procedures and compliance activities related to control system products.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in control system design, PLC/HMI programming, and commissioning within industrial automation.
• Proven experience with PLC programming using IEC-61131 languages (Ladder Logic, FBD, Structured Text).
• Strong understanding of control system architecture, PLC programming, and automation hardware.
• Ability to develop and troubleshoot control algorithms for complex machinery and process applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Control Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed control systems (DCS) configuration and programming.
• Programming proficiency in text-based languages such as C or HTML.
• Familiarity with engineering simulation tools such as SimSci or equivalent.
