Description

You will design, develop, and validate new orthopedic products through the full lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new orthopedic products from concept to release.
• Author design verification and validation protocols and reports.
• Document dFMEA, Risk Assessment Summaries, Risk Management Reports, and Traceability Matrices.
• Perform root cause analysis for verification test failures and develop mitigation plans.
• Manage Post Market Management Reports and Post Market Surveillance Plans.

Required Skills

• Master’s Degree in Mechanical and Energy Engineering, a related field, or foreign equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in design controls.
• Proficiency in CAD using NX11 or higher.
• Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (ASME Y14.5).
• Expertise in risk management files and statistical analysis.
• Proven experience in design verification and validation.
• Ability to work with test engineers to summarize mechanical and tribological test reports.
• Legal authority to work in the US.
• Willingness to relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
