Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end operations of a monthly executive governance council.
  • Coordinate meeting schedules, agendas, invitations, and ad hoc review sessions.
  • Collect and organize information required for vendor and provider reviews.
  • Ensure cases are complete and ready before presenting them to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate with Clinical, Network Operations, Contracting, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Medical Policy, and other business teams.
  • Prepare executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, pre-read materials, decision summaries, and meeting recaps.
  • Summarize complex information, risks, findings, and available options for executive decision-making.
  • Facilitate meetings by managing the agenda, discussion flow, timing, decisions, and open issues.
  • Document decisions, rationale, action items, owners, and deadlines.
  • Maintain an overall action tracker and drive outstanding items through completion.
  • Track vendor cases, watch-list items, decisions, risks, dependencies, and follow-up activities.
  • Prepare regular status reports for leadership covering case pipeline, decisions, open actions, aging items, and risks.
  • Maintain governance documentation, templates, procedures, and SharePoint resources.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to vendor governance and review workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Program Management, Project Management, PMO, or Chief of Staff experience.
  • Experience supporting executive-level governance committees, steering committees, or decision-making forums.
  • Experience in healthcare, health plans, managed care, provider organizations, or clinical vendor management.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare vendor management and contracting concepts.
  • Working knowledge of medical policy, utilization management, network operations, and healthcare operations.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple senior-level stakeholders and business functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to convert complex information into concise, executive-level presentations and recommendations.
  • Strong ownership and follow-through skills with experience managing action items to closure.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and concurrent cases.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with healthcare vendor governance, risk, compliance, credentialing, or similar committees.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial lines of business.
  • Experience working with Legal, Compliance, Special Investigations, Payment Integrity, or Contracting teams.
  • Experience with Asana, QuickBase, or similar project/work management platforms.
  • PMP certification or equivalent program management experience
