Description

You will develop backend ERP logic for manufacturing and construction systems using Progress ABL.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend logic using Progress ABL and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Perform unit testing and execute defect fixes to maintain code quality.
• Collaborate within an Agile development lifecycle to deliver software updates.
• Adhere to established project processes, quality standards, and Agile practices.
• Implement REST APIs and manage database interactions.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Progress 4GL or Progress ABL development.
• Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) within Progress.
• Experience with Progress DB and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience using Git, Jira, and Visual Studio.
• Knowledge of web servers like Apache.
• Ability to work within an Agile development lifecycle.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with manufacturing or construction industry ERP systems.
