Description

Lead the end-to-end development of renewable energy projects including microgrids, solar PV, energy storage, and EV charging infrastructure. Manage the full lifecycle from design and permitting through construction and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, engineering, procurement, and construction for solar and storage systems.
• Coordinate with utilities, contractors, and local authorities to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate contracts, manage project risks, and handle change orders.
• Secure funding through grants, tax incentives, and rebates.
• Mentor junior staff and track key milestones and deliverables.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of project management experience in renewable energy sectors.
• Expertise in solar PV systems, energy storage systems (ESS), and microgrid design.
• Experience with EV charger infrastructure and integration with renewable systems.
• Proven track record managing large-scale clean energy projects from concept to completion.
• Hands-on experience with permitting agencies and utility interconnection processes.
• Working knowledge of financial modeling, PPA structures, and tax incentives such as ITC, SGIP, and Solar for All.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• PMP or similar project management certification.
• NABCEP certification or similar solar energy credentials.
