Description

Manage installation supervision, maintenance, and process issue resolution using ABB automation systems at client sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ABB automation systems.
• Diagnose technical issues and provide timely solutions for process-related problems.
• Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and deliver tailored automation solutions.
• Provide technical training to clients regarding automation systems and maintenance procedures.
• Document all service activities, including maintenance logs and technical reports.

Required Skills

• 5 to 7 years of experience in process automation or related engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with 800xA, PEC 800, AC 800m, or AC 500 (one is mandatory).
• Proficiency in CHMI.
• Strong knowledge of application programming and HMI development or modifications for PLC/DCS systems.
• Practical understanding of various communication protocols used in automation systems.
• Expertise in PLC, DCS, and HMI technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics engineering.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills for client interaction and reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Adherence to safety guidelines and environmental responsibilities, including reporting unsafe practices.
• Coordinate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
