Description

You will manage installation supervision, maintenance, and process issue resolution for automation systems at client sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose technical issues and troubleshoot automation systems to provide timely solutions.
• Supervise installations, maintenance, and process-related issue resolution using ABB automation systems.
• Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and offer tailored technical solutions.
• Provide training to clients on automation systems and maintenance procedures.
• Document service activities, including maintenance logs and technical reports.

Required Skills

• 5 to 7 years of experience in automation solutions within the metals industry.
• Hands-on experience with ABB 800xA and Compact HMI.
• Proficiency with ABB ACS800 and ACS880 multi drives, standalone drives, DCS600, and DCS800.
• Knowledge of drive tuning and various drive configurations and interfaces.
• Technical understanding of IT/network peripherals including UPS, printers, PCs, and DCS server components.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills for client interaction and internal escalation.
