Description

You will manage four concurrent projects, including the implementation of Case Management and Legislative/Agenda Management systems, a county-wide Mobile Device Management rollout, and a Physical Security program.

Responsibilities

• Develop project charters, detailed plans, and schedules to coordinate activities across functional areas.
• Facilitate project status meetings and provide timely reporting to management and customers.
• Manage project scope, deliverable requirements, and documentation of changes to schedules.
• Address project issues with functional areas and escalate significant risks to executive management.
• Consult on operational and infrastructure requirements, standards, and configurations.
• Facilitate and document formal project closeout processes.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of information technology project management experience.
• Mandatory Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• In-depth understanding of both Waterfall and Agile (Kanban) delivery methodologies.
• Proven experience with IT system integration and cloud migration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, Microsoft Office, and Adobe.
• Experience managing projects involving Application Development, Release Management, Networks, Storage, and Data Centers.
• Strong background in Change Control, Service Desks, and Desktop Support environments.
• Expertise in process mapping, requirements definition, and design documentation.
• 7+ years of customer interfacing experience, including project oversight and presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or similar certification.
