Description

You will direct and manage high-priority, strategic Commonwealth technology projects, owning the complete lifecycle from planning through implementation.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project management plans and secure stakeholder approval for business solutions.
• Track progress against schedule and budget, taking corrective action when milestones slip.
• Manage project risk and issues using a RAID log and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
• Capture project management metrics and prepare status reports for senior leadership.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Project Management.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience managing projects with delivery cycles of 8 to 12 months.
• Proficiency in developing detailed project plans, defining milestones, and managing scope.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple work efforts across project teams.
• Experience following and adhering to IT PMO methodologies.
• Skill in facilitating discussions between IT areas and vendors to meet program requirements.
