Description

You will lead a multi-year legacy modernization project for the State of Michigan, managing complex deliverables across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage project cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, and risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Develop and maintain SUITE Project Management Methodology (PMM) deliverables, including Project Charters, Schedules, Budgets, and Risk Management Plans.
• Utilize Clarity to prepare project schedules, assign resources, and manage budgets.
• Facilitate the Change Management process, ensuring all Change Requests are approved before scope, schedule, or budget deviations occur.
• Monitor vendor contracts to manage deliverables and ensure adherence to approval procedures.
• Create Corrective Action Plans (CAP) for projects in yellow or red status.
• Communicate project status, risks, and progress to executives, program managers, and agency stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of formal IT project management experience.
• Proficiency with MS Project.
• Experience managing multi-vendor deployments and complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle stages and System Engineering Methodology (SEM).
• Proven ability to lead technical and business teams toward consensus.
• Expertise in managing project artifacts, including Communication Plans and Project Closedown Summaries.
• Any Graduate degree.
