Description

Lead high-priority IT projects within the DTMB Enterprise Portfolio Management Office in Lansing, MI.

Responsibilities

• Manage project cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, and risks using Clarity PPM.
• Develop and maintain SUITE Project Management Methodology deliverables, including Project Charters, Schedules, Budgets, and Risk Management Plans.
• Facilitate Change Management by enforcing formal Change Request approvals and creating Corrective Action Plans.
• Coordinate communication between technical teams, agency executives, and multi-vendor partners to ensure alignment on status and deliverables.
• Monitor vendor contracts and ensure compliance with SUITE PMM and System Engineering Methodology throughout the lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of formal IT project management experience.
• Proficiency with Clarity Project Portfolio Management tool for scheduling and budgeting.
• Experience managing complex, multi-vendor deployments.
• Expertise in developing project artifacts such as Communication Plans, Status Reports, and Closedown Summaries.
• Ability to manage interfaces and communications across multiple agencies and stakeholders.
• Strong capability in risk and issue management.
• Experience working with business cases and assessing the impact of change requests on project benefits.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting LARA, DIFS, MDOS, or Lottery agencies.
