Description

You will lead large-scale networking, infrastructure, and telecom deployment projects for educational districts.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex LAN/WAN projects, including routers, switches, and wireless access point installations.
• Coordinate hardware refreshes involving Cisco cores, wireless controllers, and Aruba AP deployments.
• Direct fiber optic and digital cabling projects from planning through completion.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams, external clients, and vendors to meet strict deadlines.
• Maintain clear communication and project organization across all stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in project management.
• Proven track record managing networking, infrastructure, or telecom projects.
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, wireless access points, and network hardware.
• Proficiency with project management tools including Smartsheets, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Experience working with K-12 school districts or SLED management.
• Strong client-facing communication and organizational skills.
• Background in managing hardware deployments such as Aruba switches and APs.

Preferred Skills

• Scrum Master, CCNA, or CCNP certifications.
• Direct experience working with the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD).
