Description

You will lead complex IT projects from initiation through delivery, owning scope, schedule, and risk for large-scale systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, requirements, and deliverables through direct client consultation.
• Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and release plans to meet strict objectives.
• Manage internal and external IT project teams while coordinating with department heads and agency secretaries.
• Monitor project activities and resources to mitigate risk and enforce quality assurance processes.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and analytical research to guide project direction.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience applying project management principles, methods, and tools.
• 4+ years of experience specifically as a Senior PM for large or complex IT projects.
• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is required.
• Risk management and financial management expertise.
• Requirements analysis and systems life cycle knowledge.
• Infrastructure design, systems integration, and IT architecture experience.
• Business process reengineering and capital planning.
• Contracting, procurement, and cost-benefit analysis skills.
