Description

You will manage the implementation and integration of third-party applications within an Epic EHR implementation program.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project scope, schedule, and quality for specific application areas.
• Develop and maintain project plans, artifacts, and budgets.
• Coordinate communication between the client, the Office of the State CIO, and the Enterprise Project Management Office.
• Liaise between organizational needs, vendor staff, and Epic implementation teams to ensure systems meet business requirements.
• Guide workflow design, system build, and testing processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing Health Information Technology (HIT) projects.
• Specific experience with clinical information systems and healthcare application interoperability.
• Proven experience with Epic implementation or operations support.
• In-depth knowledge of IT project management, budgeting, costing, and QA methodologies.
• Proficiency in PMI standards for project management.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and MS SharePoint.
• Familiarity with IT procurement and vendor/contract management.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to develop business cases for governance approval.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
