Lead data engineering and architecture initiatives across cloud platforms, managing complex migrations and GenAI implementations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate end-to-end data platform delivery, overseeing warehouse migrations (Teradata to BigQuery) and Databricks Lakehouse deployments.
• Design and enforce medallion architecture, dimensional data modeling, and data mesh principles with semantic layers.
• Manage CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code practices for scalable batch and streaming pipelines using Apache Spark.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and executive reporting, ensuring alignment on GenAI architecture (RAG, Agentic AI, MCP).
• Direct team leadership and delivery management for Snowflake and multi-cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure) environments.

Required Skills

• 20+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, and project management.
• Deep expertise in Databricks Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Databricks Workflows.
• Proficiency in Snowflake (Snow SQL, Snowpark, OpenFlow, Snow Pipe, streams, tasks).
• Strong background in GCP, AWS, and Azure cloud data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for both batch and streaming processing.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proven track record in warehouse migration and data mesh architecture design.
