Description

Lead large-scale mechanical construction projects in Rensselaer, NY, overseeing HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems from planning through completion.

Responsibilities

• Direct project planning, execution, budgeting, and scheduling for complex mechanical builds.
• Manage subcontractors, review RFIs and change orders, and track project financials.
• Lead project managers and field teams, ensuring safety and quality compliance.
• Serve as the primary client contact and resolve critical construction issues.
• Support business development efforts and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of project management experience, including 5+ years in large-scale mechanical construction.
• Expertise in HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Procore, and Primavera.
• Strong background in contract management, risk management, and safety standards.
• Proven leadership, communication, and budgeting skills.
