Description

Lead end-to-end project management for complex IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with federal and agency standards.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for multi-million-dollar programs.
• Lead cross-functional teams and serve as the primary liaison between clients, internal staff, and subcontractors.
• Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with contractual and federal regulations.
• Prepare status reports, briefings, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in project or program management.
• 7+ years supporting state or government agencies.
• 6+ years leading large, complex IT projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-year projects exceeding $5M.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Jira, and Smartsheet.
• Strong command of project management best practices (PMBOK, Agile, or Hybrid).
• Exceptional communication, organization, and leadership capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• PMP certification from PMI or equivalent.
• Agile certification (Scrum Master, SAFe).
• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DOJ-specific guidelines.
