Description

Lead complex IT implementations within an acute care hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical resources to design, set up, and deploy required infrastructure.
• Coordinate with clinical, business, and technical stakeholders alongside external vendors.
• Direct project workflows using the PHSA PQTO Project Implementation Methodology or other industry standards.
• Oversee major re-development projects and facilitate "Day in the Life" scenarios.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• Post-secondary education in Health Information Science, Computer Science, or a related degree.
• Proficiency with PHSA PQTO Project Implementation Methodology.
• Experience managing technical resource teams and external partners for infrastructure design.
• Experience working with clinical and business stakeholders in a healthcare setting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing Health Care IT in BC acute care hospitals.
• Background in major re-development projects and "Day in the Life" scenario participation.
