Description

You will lead technical IT software development and implementation projects from initiation through completion with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Drive one or more software development projects through the full lifecycle, directing the work of team members, consultants, and contractors.
• Develop and maintain all project documentation, including charters, management plans, requirements, design documents, test plans, and implementation plans.
• Manage project schedules and budgets using MS Project and MS EPM, reporting on all variances.
• Monitor, document, and report on risks and issues while engaging vendors to resolve pending items.
• Lead project status meetings and present project updates at Quality Gates.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on IT Project Management experience covering software development lifecycles.
• Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects.
• Expertise with Jira, Confluence, MS Project Office Professional, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• PMP Certification.
• Proven ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve technical issues.
• Experience creating Statements of Work (SOW) and evaluating vendor RFP responses.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS and data ingestion processes.
• Experience with BI reporting and product evaluation processes.
• Proficiency with MS Project Server (EPM).
