Description

Lead large-scale, complex programs and projects through the entire Project Management Lifecycle, from initiation to closeout.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams through all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
• Oversee day-to-day project execution, including defining deliverables, managing sprint plans, maintaining schedules, and prioritizing backlogs.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, leadership teams, and vendors to ensure successful program delivery.
• Develop project plans, resource strategies, communication plans, and performance metrics to support informed decision-making.
• Identify dependencies, constraints, and risks, then collaborate to mitigate issues and maintain timelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of project management experience delivering multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Proven experience leading at least four multi-year enterprise project implementations.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Atlassian Jira, and Confluence.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent Agile certification required.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, project governance, and risk management.
• Experience coaching and mentoring team members with constructive feedback.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, IT, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing projects involving cloud-based platforms (SaaS, PaaS) or infrastructure modernization.
• Background working with federal, state, or large enterprise organizations.
