Lead the hands-on implementation and architecture of scalable, resilient Python applications for the Market Risk domain.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build high-performance Python solutions using FastAPI, Django, and Flask.
• Drive development for Stress Testing and Regulatory Risk projects within the Market Risk domain.
• Enforce SDLC best practices and maintain code quality through rigorous peer reviews.
• Collaborate with Risk, Quantitative, Front Office, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Manage technical planning, governance, and ownership of complex initiatives independently.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on application development experience with Python 3.x.
• Expert proficiency in Python frameworks: FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Strong database experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Git.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases like Cassandra or Vector DBs.
• Familiarity with GenAI tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex) or testing frameworks (Pytest, unittest).
• Domain expertise in quantitative solutions, stress testing, or regulatory risk.
