Description

Develop and maintain cloud-native Python applications and automation frameworks within microservices architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build optimized Python code for cloud-native microservices.
• Write and automate unit and functional tests using the Robot framework.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins.
• Triage faults reported by test teams or customers and provide technical resolutions.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to author design and test strategy documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Python programming experience with a focus on optimized code.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Native and Microservices architectures.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, Logstash, and RSYSLOG.
• Knowledge of Flask, Gunicorn, NGINX, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, service registries, VMs, and hypervisors.
• Strong command of Linux-based operating systems and containerization.
• Experience using Git, GitLab, Gerrit, and JIRA within Agile methodologies.
• Ability to perform requirements analysis and work across geographically diverse teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Robot framework for automation.
