Description

You will lead the conversion of approximately 900 regression scripts from a TCL framework to pyATS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Convert existing TCL automation scripts into pyATS scripts while meeting strict project deadlines.
• Develop and maintain efficient pyATS automation scripts using Python.
• Execute and troubleshoot converted scripts to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Document all converted scripts and automation processes.
• Use Cisco GPT to assist with automation tasks and improve conversion efficiency.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in network security.
• Extensive experience in Python programming.
• Deep understanding of network security protocols, specifically IPsec.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing automation frameworks and scripts.
• Experience with test automation tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team to meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with the pyATS framework.
• Familiarity with Cisco GPT, Cisco SDWAN, and the VTest Framework.
• Experience in Agile environments and CI/CD pipeline integration.
