Description

Design and maintain scalable backend services and microservices in Python.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Manage data persistence using Oracle RDBMS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Deploy and orchestrate services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of backend development experience with Python as the primary language.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and NestJS.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Functions, App Engine, Cloud Storage).
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ for message queuing.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Big Query, or Oracle RDBMS.
• Experience with MongoDB.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Git and Agile methodologies.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with serverless architecture.
• Experience with event-driven system design.
