Description

You will design and build high-volume backend services using Python.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain event-driven architectures using async Python patterns.
• Implement fault-tolerance, idempotency, and exactly-once processing in distributed systems.
• Write and optimize complex, performant raw SQL queries against PostgreSQL.
• Develop comprehensive unit and functional tests for backend services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience focused on high-volume web services.
• Deep expertise with PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy, including writing performant raw SQL.
• Demonstrated experience building event-driven architectures (Kafka, Pub/Sub, SQS/SNS, Cloud Tasks).
• Proven ability to implement fault-tolerance and idempotency in distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency with Git, Linux environments, and Jira.
• Experience with async Python patterns.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.

Preferred Skills

• Expert knowledge of FastAPI and modern Python web frameworks.
• Experience with GCP (GKE, BigQuery, Pub/Sub) or Azure (AKS, EventHubs).
• Knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
