Description

You will build and maintain core backend services using advanced Python.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using FastAPI and Pydantic.
• Develop event-driven architectures while adhering to Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• Own unit, integration, and contract testing across services.
• Apply SOLID principles and common design patterns to minimize technical debt.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in backend engineering.
• Advanced Python proficiency, including async/await and concurrency.
• Strong experience with FastAPI and Pydantic.
• Deep knowledge of design patterns and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions.
• Proficiency in Git and working within CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker.
• Understanding of observability, logging, and performance profiling.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with columnar data processing frameworks (e.g., Polars).
