Description

Maintain, develop, and modernize CBER Adverse Events activities using Python and Spark.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and code solutions using procedural and object-oriented programming techniques.
• Support Python upgrade activities and system modernization efforts.
• Diagnose technical issues and implement rapid fixes to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and update changes within the CI/CD pipeline using GitLab.
• Report progress and escalate technical blockers as needed.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Expertise in Python development.
• Experience with Spark (PySpark).
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience using GitLab for source code management.
• Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines via GitLab.
• Ability to solve problems independently and learn new technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in consultant-level roles.
