Description

You will lead the design, development, and optimization of the core codebase using Python and associated compute environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize core code using Python and compute environments like Jupyter or VS Code.
• Integrate FP&A forecasting models, analytics, and data pipelines by partnering with FP&A and data teams.
• Drive technical innovation by implementing compute grids, data vectors, and AI-based methods.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for critical incidents, providing Tier-3 technical expertise.
• Establish and champion engineering standards, testing practices, and platform documentation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in professional software engineering with significant hands-on Python development.
• Demonstrated success building or maintaining large-scale computational systems or financial modeling platforms.
• Experience with DevOps practices and ability to communicate them to business users.
• Proficiency with Python.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and Redshift.
• Familiarity with AI/ML integration in computational systems.
• Proven track record in data-driven platforms or advanced analytics.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and data engineers.
