Description

You will lead the development of scalable Python-based data solutions, focusing on data processing, transformation, and analytics.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines and workflows using Python libraries.
• Optimize Python code for performance, memory efficiency, and scalability in data-intensive environments.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and rigorous code reviews.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and DevOps to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and support CI/CD pipelines for data applications.

Required Skills

• 7–11 years of experience in Python development and SQL.
• Strong proficiency with Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, and SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Luigi, or Celery.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and optimizing database interactions.
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, unittest).
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools for Python applications.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in data-intensive environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data engineering and deployment.
• Experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Kafka, Databricks).
