Responsibilities

• Design and build horizontally scalable components within the core platform.
• Review code to provide feedback on best practices, performance, and stability optimizations.
• Act as a subject matter expert on deployed code to support other developers.
• Write reusable, extendable code to contribute to the core platform.

Required Skills

• At least 10 years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Python, including functional and object-oriented programming.
• Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures.
• Experience building distributed, scalable complex services and robust microservices.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience writing unit tests using pytest or unittest.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with horizontally scalable architectures.
• Ability to simplify complex software systems.
