Description

Design, develop, and optimize data-intensive applications using Python, SQL, and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and microservices.
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines using Pandas, NumPy, and SQLAlchemy for data processing and analysis.
• Manage SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server), including schema design and query optimization.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure (Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Blob Storage).
• Implement data validation, testing, and monitoring frameworks to ensure data integrity.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in Python development, with 3 years focused on data engineering analytics.
• Proficiency in Python ecosystem, including Pandas and NumPy.
• Advanced SQL skills (complex queries, indexing, stored procedures) and ORM tools like SQLAlchemy.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services (Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Data Lake, Synapse).
• Experience building batch and real-time ETL workflows.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, CICD pipelines (Azure DevOps), and Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
