Build responsive web applications and maintain software products as a Senior Python Developer in Chicago.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write effective, scalable Python code and develop back-end components to improve performance.
• Integrate user-facing elements and third-party web services into applications.
• Test, debug, and improve the functionality of existing systems.
• Implement security and data protection solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to assess feature requests and provide technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Python Developer.
• Expertise in the Django framework.
• Experience with at least one other Python framework, such as Flask or Pyramid.
• Proficiency in Python, HTML5, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM).
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Ability to write and test code, debug programs, and integrate applications.
