Description

You will build and maintain document capture applications within a RHEL Linux environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain document capture applications using Python.
• Integrate applications with Kafka, Oracle DB, and S3 APIs.
• Design technical documentation using UML.
• Apply DevOps processes to manage builds and deployments.
• Troubleshoot and analyze application issues to ensure stability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of professional development experience using Python.
• Experience integrating with Kafka, Oracle DB, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with S3 APIs.
• Proficiency in multi-threading, concurrency, and transaction management.
• Experience with logging, caching, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of application monitoring and DevOps build/deployment processes.
• Ability to produce design documentation using UML.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Agile project processes.
• Knowledge of banking industry processes.
