Description

Build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and high-volume REST APIs within an Azure cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modular, object-oriented, and maintainable Python code with integrated logging and exception handling.
• Build and manage ETL solutions using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory.
• Develop high-volume REST APIs using standard protocols and data formats.
• Implement automated deployments and manage source code through DevOps tools.
• Apply test-driven development (TDD) and automate API testing, regression, and performance tests.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of ETL development experience.
• Expertise in Python development, including REST APIs, encryption/decryption, and data management.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud components, specifically Azure Data Factory and Azure Blob Storage.
• Proven experience implementing ETL solutions in Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts, including Real-time Data Ingestion, Data Modeling, and Dimensional Modeling.
• Proficiency with Shell scripting for data transfers and automated deployments.
• Solid grasp of API and integration design principles.
• Experience with Cloud Security features and adoption in application development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Public and Alternatives Asset Management.
• Familiarity with NoSQL/NewSQL databases.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and defect tracking tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
