Build and maintain scalable services within distributed systems, translating product requirements into technical solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, test, deploy, and monitor efficient code for production environments.
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure service resilience and quality.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to the team's technical direction.
• Collaborate with project leads and product managers to deliver scalable services.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience working with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of database technologies including RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, building, and deployment systems.
• Ability to design resilient software components within distributed systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EKS and AWS Lambda.
• Background in C or PHP for migrating legacy systems.
• Domain expertise in payment processing.
