Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of scalable Python-based web applications and high-performance backend services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable web applications using FastAPI, Django, and Flask.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs for front-end and third-party integrations.
• Optimize database models using SQLAlchemy and manage migrations with Alembic.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Django, and Flask.
• Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with SQLAlchemy, Alembic, NoSQL, and relational databases.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Proficiency with Git and containerization tools like Docker.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like pytest.
• Experience in the healthcare or biotech domains.
