Description

You will design and implement cloud-native microservices using Python and FastAPI, owning the full lifecycle from API architecture to secure deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize APIs, worker services, and event-driven systems using Kafka.
• Define coding standards, testing strategies, and development best practices.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for scalable deployments.
• Drive performance tuning, caching strategies, and data transformation processes.
• Mentor team members and conduct code reviews to ensure quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Python and FastAPI or equivalent frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Async I/O and Pydantic.
• Hands-on experience with Pytest or unittest.
• Proficiency with Docker, Terraform, and Kafka (Confluent).
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with cloud provider infrastructure.
• Knowledge of XSLT transformations and XML/XSD processing.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, or IBM AS/400.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions like New Relic.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
