Description

You will own the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend services and public APIs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Write maintainable, idiomatic Python code following industry best practices.
• Design and build public APIs capable of operating at scale.
• Manage application containerization using Docker.
• Deploy and manage applications within Kubernetes environments.
• Own project lifecycles from autonomous decision-making to final completion.

Required Skills

• 7 to 10 years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and its core libraries.
• Proven experience building and scaling public APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization.
• Experience deploying applications on Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience implementing caching layers using Redis.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GraphQL in Python using Strawberry or Graphene.
• Knowledge of healthcare domain applications, specifically patient-facing mobile or web platforms.
