You will design and build horizontally scalable components for a major platform development project.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build horizontally scalable components within the core platform.
• Review code to provide feedback on best practices, performance, and stability.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for deployed code and support other developers.
• Write reusable, extendable code to contribute to the core platform.
• Simplify software architecture through consistent refactoring and improvement.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Python using functional and object-oriented programming paradigms.
• Experience building distributed, scalable services and microservices.
• Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in writing unit tests using pytest or unittest.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with horizontally scalable architectures.
• Background in supporting other developers.
