Description

You will develop microservices for a data-oriented modernization project using Python and PySpark.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices based on Python and PySpark architectures.
• Perform system, functional, and data analysis on legacy systems including Informatica, SAS, AutoSys, and DB2.
• Write automated tests using Behave, Cucumber, and Pytest.
• Create technical and functional requirement documents and data mappings from business requirement documents.
• Optimize code for performance tuning and scalability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
• Experience with AWS services, specifically AWS EKS and AWS Postgres.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container-based deployments.
• Competency with Jenkins, SonarQube, and Fortify for DevOps workflows.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks including Behave, Cucumber, and Pytest.
• Ability to analyze legacy systems such as Informatica, SAS, AutoSys, and DB2.
• Strong technical documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake, AMQs, Java, Spring Boot, and Tableau.
• Background in reporting applications development and data analysis.
