Description

You will design and maintain the backend services for an enterprise financial reporting platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful API services and shared components using Python.
• Build and maintain automated tests, including unit, functional, performance, and acceptance testing.
• Develop scalable calculations to ensure high performance over large data sets.
• Automate deployment and testing processes to ensure production resilience and high availability.
• Collaborate with DevOps and UI teams to deliver end-to-end story tasks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Python and writing RESTful web services.
• Proficiency with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience with NumPy and pandas for data processing.
• Strong backend skills with Relational Databases.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools like Pytest, Unittest, or pytest-mockito.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Gradle, Jenkins, Git, Conda, pip, Jira, and Gitlab.
• Competency in DevOps tools including Linux and Docker.
