Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure RESTful APIs and backend services using Python.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Python, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Apply strong object-oriented design principles to create clean, reusable code.
• Write efficient, production-ready Python code with comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues in backend services.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on Python development.
• Proven experience building REST APIs using Flask or FastAPI.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience developing production-grade, scalable, and secure backend services.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to write and maintain technical documentation.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Pandas and NumPy.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Pytest, Unittest, or Behave.
