Key Responsibilities

• Develop ETL pipelines, data migration scripts, and automation using Python.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Extract, transform, validate, and load (ETL) data across databases and APIs.
• Integrate data from multiple systems (cloud, on-premises, APIs, flat files).
• Improve data quality, performance, and reporting processes.
• Work with business teams to gather reporting requirements.
• Document data migration and integration processes.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Python development.
• 5+ years of Power BI experience.
• 7+ years of SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Ingres).
• Experience with ETL, data migration, and data conversion projects.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and backend architecture.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Java development experience.
• Power BI administration (workspaces, gateways, deployments).
• Git/Subversion and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with large-scale modernization or legacy system migrations.
• Perl scripting experience is a plus
