Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Senior Python Developers with strong backend development expertise and a proven track record of building scalable, high-performance applications in enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on Python development experience and 10+ years of overall IT experience. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mission-critical applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Python-based applications and services.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Develop reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and enterprise platforms.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD processes.
• Ensure application security, reliability, and scalability standards are met.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Strong expertise in Python programming and object-oriented design.
• Experience developing REST APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Proficiency with Git and source control management.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with messaging and streaming technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Exposure to financial services, banking, or large enterprise environments.
• Experience with performance tuning and application monitoring tools.
