Description

You will design, build, and maintain high-scale software platforms for data computation and processing. You will serve as a technical advisor to mid-level developers, allocating work and ensuring code quality.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management teams to integrate functions and identify system enhancements.
• Resolve high-impact problems through in-depth evaluation of complex business and system processes.
• Ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint and develop coding standards.
• Build performant software platforms using core Python concepts for data computation.
• Provide expert analysis to define issues and develop innovative solutions for software platforms.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Applications Development or systems analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.
• Experience with SQL, Git, and Unix environments.
• Deep understanding of OOPs, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
• Proven ability to manage and implement successful software projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with banking domain concepts like pricing and risk management.
• CFA or FRM certification.
• Knowledge of platform engineering and source code management tools like Bitbucket.
