Description

You will optimize and maintain web-based applications and APIs on Microsoft Azure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement application and infrastructure monitoring using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Diagnose performance, reliability, and security issues across the stack; lead incident response and root cause analysis.
• Automate CI/CD and release processes using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals and maintain production workloads.

Required Skills

• 7+ years professional Python development experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Strong SQL skills for data interaction and management.
• Experience deploying and operating production workloads on Microsoft Azure (App Service, Functions, Containers, Storage, SQL, Databricks).
• Hands-on setup of monitoring and observability for Python web applications.
• Proficiency with logging, metrics, tracing, and profiling tools.
• Solid debugging skills, including performance tuning, memory/CPU analysis, and dependency resolution.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, asynchronous processing, and message queues.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and IaC (Bicep/Terraform).
