Description

You will build and maintain backend services and data processing pipelines as a hands-on senior engineer.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services including message intake pipelines, data manipulation, and external service integrations.
• Build REST APIs for frontend consumption using Django REST framework.
• Manage complex backend logic involving JSON, XML, and flat file processing.
• Participate in architectural, design, and product discussions within an Agile/Scrum framework.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Python application programming.
• Deep knowledge of Python, Django, and Flask.
• Experience building Web APIs with Django REST framework.
• Proficiency with Pandas, Pytest, and exception handling.
• Understanding of multithreading, Asyncio, and gRPC microservices.
• Strong SQL knowledge, specifically with PostgreSQL and Snowflake.
• Foundational understanding of AWS concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD DevOps methodologies.
• Technical proficiency with JSON, XML, Jenkins, and Docker.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure cloud services, Load Balancers, and Application Gateways.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL, in-memory databases, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Bamboo for CI/CD.
