Description

You will own the backend systems and data workflows for scalable services. You will design, build, and maintain efficient Python code while ensuring backward compatibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems and data workflows using Python.
• Design, build, and consume scalable RESTful APIs.
• Set up and manage monitoring, observability, and alerting systems using Datadog or PagerDuty.
• Refactor existing codebases to improve performance and maintainability.
• Design and manage data pipelines, database queries, and SQLAlchemy ORM implementations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Flask or equivalent web frameworks.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and system management.
• Experience with Apache Airflow or equivalent workflow management tools.
• Ability to design and consume RESTful APIs.
• Experience setting up monitoring and alerting systems.
• Experience with SQLAlchemy ORM.

Preferred Skills

• Full-stack experience with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or React.
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Knowledge of Amazon Aurora, Flask-Migrate, and data labeling vendor APIs.
