Description

Build and maintain web applications, REST APIs, and messaging services using Python and JavaScript.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build object-oriented applications using Python3 and the Django web framework.
• Design and manage database schemas using the Django Migration Framework with PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Write complex SQL queries for reporting and data extraction.
• Perform unit testing and system integration testing using tools like SOAP UI and Postman.
• Document technical solutions and present architectures to senior-level stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level Python programming with deep knowledge of object-oriented principles.
• Advanced JavaScript proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with Django Web Framework and Django Migration Framework.
• Proficiency in HTML, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Experience writing complex SQL for reporting purposes.
• Practical experience with unit testing and integration testing.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• US Citizenship or US Person status (Green Card) required.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with NodeJS, Angular, ReactJS, SpringBoot, or Ansible.
• Experience with Linux scripting and AWS concepts.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and TensorFlow.
